Review of Yokaizer Spirit Ghost Tamagotchi Odd Pet
I bought this used off from a local seller on 1 March 2017. no box, no instruction but just the device itself. Google on youtube or the internet for more information but not much. Therefore decide to write this simple review on this pet in case anyone is interested.
Size of the device: quite bulky, quite thick in width, not so convenient to click onto your waist as this is a pedometer. Recommended to click onto the inner pocket in your bag.
graphics: quite alright and will show various interesting spirit that you had caught, the pixels abit faded but still able to see it(guess due to old age)
Game Play: 4 buttons at the bottom: 1st button starting from the left is select, 2nd button is enter, 3rd button is cancel, 4th button is literally not much of a function just that it can change main screen of the device from a nerdy running boy to some creature(not sure what it does).
General game play is a pedometer, you need to walk accordingly to the steps given on the main screen, number of steps is random after each attempt to catch the creature. You need to capture as many creature, ghost or spirit as possible. The creature or spirit or ghost is split into 4 different categories shown below in the bar below, Grass, Fire, Water and lastly the image like a hammer(not sure what is that).
Menu/ icon function: 1st icon on the screen on the top menu bar(there are 2 menu bar, top and bottom), is a fist image meaning to say when your step counter become zero, you will need to choose fight or run, if you fight u got a chance to capture the spirit. A word "Appearing" in chinese will shown up when your steps counter reduced to zero, then shake the device and press enter to see if you are able to capture it and if not then step counter restart to a random number. Second icon on the menu is game, shake as quickly as possible within the start till the end with a beep sound. These steps will count into the total steps you need to take, a faster method to capture the next creature as this will gradually reduce the total steps you need to take. Third icon is a book icon, showing you all the creature you had capture. Fourth icon is a fight icon, can actually connect with another device to fight like a digimon but i do not have another thus unable to explain much. the first icon on the lower bar menu is a image of a clock, under the first selection: you can update your time by holding on to the last button and the time will blink and you can change it. As for the date, not sure what does it means, i can read the chinese words but unsure of it. Second selection under clock section(unsure of it), Next icon on the lower bar menu is a pair of duck feets, first selection is total of steps you had taken so far. Second selection icon is reset the total steps you are taken so far. Third icon on the lower bar menu is sounds, first selection is ON, second selection is OFF.Last icon on the lower bar menu is just a display of the map of where you are right now.
Overall, i am kind of happy that i pick this up. Is something interesting and is a pedometer as i walk alot daily. if you do not then i propose you not to get it as you need to walk quite a lot to capture the number of creature and not forgetting how bulky the device is. I would rate it like 7/10 for this. Anyone got any additional information to share with me on the device, feel free to speak to me. Thanks.
